He studied in Sweden, settled in Denmark, fell in love with Scandinavia, and has spent years trying to integrate - he cycles, he recycles, he worships the sun. He still butchers the language while ‘snakkering’ Danish, messes up the week numbers, and has zero Danish friends, but doesn't seem to mind. Is a Viking blood transfusion his last chance to become Scandinavian? PURE VIKING BLOOD is a stand-up comedy show where Ulug shares his successes and failures - mostly failures - using his deadpan observations about integration, Danish office culture, and life in this wonderful part of the world. The show is for expats who are integrated... almost, and Danes who want to get an outside perspective. Chances are, you'll recognize yourself somewhere in it. ------- Ulug Bek is a data analyst by day and a comedian by night. Ulug has toured with 20+ sold-out shows across Denmark with ALMOST DANES and ALMOST DANES 2, his trio shows with Kriti Prajapati and Adrian Mackinder.
