Underviser: Tan Vargas Tid: 23. oktober kl 17-21 og 24.oktober kl 10-16 This Class will be taught in English What you’ll get: At the introductory course, the guidelines for using the screen printing workshop will be reviewed. You will receive thorough instruction in how to use the facilities and get hands-on experience with the processes. You will also be given our Screen Printing Handbook, which you must read so you understand how we expect you to use the workshop. During the course, you will learn how to coat a screen with emulsion, expose it, and print with it. We will go through the inks and binders we offer, and you’ll have the opportunity to try them out. You will be able to print on paper and/or textiles. During the course, you will only have time to work with one design in A5 format in a single color. You will have the opportunity to create your design during the course on Friday evening, either by cutting it out of black paper or drawing with a black Posca marker directly onto a piece of overhead transparency. If you use graphic software, you may also bring your design digitally on a USB stick, but do not expect help with preparing digital files during the course itself NOTE: Your design must NOT contain grayscale. Please bring the following: An apron or clothes that can handle paint stains Old cloths for wiping (bedsheets or tea towels) or a pack of wet wipes Textiles and paper to print on A plastic container with a tight-fitting lid for mixing ink How to continue: The course fee includes a workshop access pass for 2026 and 2027 and materials used during the intro course. After the intro course, you must attend five guided sessions in the workshop (Tuesdays 17:00–20:00) so you become familiar with the facilities before working independently. If you already have an access pass to one of our other workshops, you can get the intro course at a reduced price. Du får en grundig instruktion i brugen af faciliteterne og får selv hands-on erfaring med processerne. Du får udleveret vores serigrafihåndbog, som du skal læse, så du ved, hvordan vi forventer, at du bruger værkstedet. På kurset lærer du at rakle en ramme op, belyse den og trykke med den. Vi gennemgår de farver og bindere, vi tilbyder, og du får mulighed for at afprøve dem. Du kan trykke på papir og/eller tekstil. Du vil på kurset kun nå at arbejde med ét motiv i A5-format i én farve. Du får mulighed for at udarbejde dit motiv på kurset fredag aften, enten ved at klippe i sort papir eller tegne med en sort Posca-tusch direkte på et stykke overheadtransparent. Hvis du arbejder med grafiske computerprogrammer, kan du også medbringe dit motiv digitalt på et USB-stik, men forvent ikke hjælp til klargøring af digitale filer på selve kurset. HUSK: Dit motiv må ikke indeholde gråtoner. Medbring følgende: Forklæde eller tøj, der kan tåle malerpletter Gamle klude til aftørring (gamle lagner/viskestykker) eller en pakke vådservietter Tekstiler og papir til at trykke på En plastbøtte med tætsluttende låg til at blande farve i Sådan kommer du videre: Kursusprisen dækker brugerkort til værkstedet for resten af 2026 erialeforbrug på introkurset. Efter introkurset skal du deltage i fem vejledningsgange i værkstedet (tirsdage kl. 17–20), så du lærer faciliteterne godt at kende, inden du arbejder på egen hånd.
