In this tasting experience, you will try five different mezcals produced by the same family in the same palenque— e mezcal distillery where agave is cooked, fermented, and distilled using traditional methods—each made from different agave varieties, allowing you to discover the distinct characteristics, aromas, and flavors of each one. Manuel Hernandez is a mezcal producer in Oaxaca and part of Mezcal del Amigo, a family business founded by his father-in-law, a fourth-generation mezcal producer. His work focuses both on production and on sharing the culture and tradition of mezcal through tastings, experiences, and collaborations that bring people closer to the origin and craftsmanship behind each distillate.
